Home made pokemon advent calender

Luckily my boyfriend doesn't know about this blog (yet) so I can get away with showing you all what I've recently made him. He'll be getting this on the first of embedder as it's an advent calender. I'll update this post with pictures of the actual calender but this is a bit of behind the scenes as I had to melt chocolate for the chocolate... obviously. I had to buy a pokemon pikachu head ice cube tray and use it as a chocolate mould! So much money went into making this, I know he loves the cheesy things so I know he'll certainly appreciate this

I made a collage so it's easier for you to see, it's kind of gone upside down though but the two pictures down the left hand side are part of the calender, the three in the middle and one on the bottom right are the mould and chocolate melting and the top one is to show how I stuck it together (the envelope to form the calender) So yeah as I said I'll update this with other pictures, but what do you guys think? It was hard work and it's taken me about 13 days to get it all complete. Do you like making things for your partner? What's the best thing you've made them, or what have they made you? :)

Dreamy creamy makeup review

Again I bought this product in my local beauty store. I think it was about £5 or £6, never one to refuse a foundation I thought great! However I've soon changed my mind. I HATE this product. I don't know if it's just me or if anyone else hates it but there is just something about it that doesn't appeal to me now. When opening the foundation you can clearly see it's cracked around the sides, and when you dap your finger or brush in (bear with me till I get my words) it's like wet? And it leaves your finger mark there! I know it's a liquid type of foundation but I thought it would be harder than it actually is. And don't even get me started on the colour. It's soooooooooo orange! I got the shade nude, most of my foundations are nude and they are light. Don't get me wrong it's not dark either, it's just orange. Even on your face it looks as if you're wearing cheese. Which is so disgusting.

I have tried to show how it's "wet" and as you can see the last picture, it looks orange. It doesn't sit well on my face either, I expected it to be like able to go all over your face but it just stays in one part of your face. I rate this product 2/10. Maybe other people might get on better with it but it's another product I won't be buying. Have you tried this one? How did you like it?

T-Zone spot zapping stick

Me again! (I have free time at work so I'm getting in all my reviews now! Hehe!) So I decided to do another review, this time of a product that is meant to zap spots away. I first saw this product at my local beauty store, I literally think it's called Beauty Store. It was £1.80 but the guy gave me it for £1.50 which was a bargain! I've never had much luck with spot clearing products so getting it on the cheap sold me! I took this product home with positive feelings about it. I somewhat think these positive feelings are still there. A little. I've used T-Zone before, there was one product which you can't buy now but it was amazing on my skin. Anyway, it's a roll on so you just roll it on the spot! Simple. I used it and it made the spot stung a little bit. There's obviously an ingredient which didn't react well. I used it three times that day. The next day the spot was less visible! I decided to wash my face and then use it again. I only used it twice that day, next morning spot was gone. I think though that because I've used it so much it's got used to my skin, as it doesn't work as well.

It now just makes my skin feel a bit greasy and it doesn't make it sting like it used to. So I've taken a break from using it just now. Hoping it might re-work haha. I think if I had paid the full price for it I'd have been a bit miffed that it'd stopped working. I always get horrendous break out on my forehead. Can anyone recommend a good sorta cheap product that fights against spots?
Can't wait till I'm older and might not get them haha

Lee stafford; hair growth shampoo, conditioner and treatment review

Afternoon everyone!
I know everyone's nan and their cat has something to say about lee stafford but I decided to do a review for you all. You'll have heard of it, it is the really expensive "hair growth" stuff in boots. It's meant to revitalise (not the word it says on the packet but I'm using my own words) your roots and ends to help them grow. I found out about this on youtube. The hair growth treatment is my second pot, I didn't really use it properly on the first pot and I decided to try out the hair growth shampoo and conditioner. The whole three set is currently on offer at Boots, it's 3 for £12 which is a bargain seeing as the shampoo is £7

As you can see in the first photo that's how it arrived as I ordered online. The second photo shows it's 3 for £12. On the hair growth treatment it does actually say to use the hair growth shampoo & conditioner but I never did. On the first use of the treatment it made my hair greasy, I figured I hadn't left it in long enough. The second time it was much softer. I got about 5 treatments out of the pot. I never noticed any difference in my hair at all though but I've gone all out of it with the shampoo and conditioner hoping it works or that I'll notice a difference. I'll update this post on how it goes and let you all know daily :)

Have you ever used lee stafford? Did it work wonders or was it a disaster?

Christmas presents

The first picture is a completed picture of how many presents I got my boyfriend last year, the second photo is only a few of them (they have multiplied woops) there's nothing I love more than spoiling my boyfriend rotten on Christmas  he deserves it for putting up with me during the 12 months of a year! This year I've probably spent a few pounds more than I did last year. And I have bought bigger things this year. Despite him telling me he won't buy me half as much haha! I love Christmas, I get so excited over the Christmas period, I love the decorations, the cheesy music, spending time with friends, the presents are just a bonus! Haha. Christmas used to be really exciting when I was younger, I think as you get older you tend to lose the spirit of it. I can't wait to have children and show them all about Christmas and santa.

My time in Dublin

As most of you will know from my  ever updating youtube videos that I treated my boyfriend to four days in Dublin as a present for our one year anniversary (although I booked wrong flight dates and we had to go in June a month early) never the less it was an amazing trip there back to my home. I got so tearful! Hope you enjoy the pictures xx

So we landed in Dublin early Saturday morning (16.02.2012) and went to the information bitty for info about buses and such like. Got on a bus, onto another bus into the Terenure area. Checked in a good five hours early and got shown to our room. I think we slept for about 3 hours! Woke up and got food to eat. The next day was Sunday and I had planned to go to the Zoo. So we got a bus to O'Connell Street, then another bus to the Zoo. We walked around phoenix park too. On the monday we booked a river cruise and I went shopping for a few tops. Then we had dinner, I have no idea what it was called but it was an Italian place. Then we went across the road to the 3XD Theatre after my boyfriend begging to go there which was really fun! Then we went back to the hotel, watched a light television before going to sleep and getting up uber early!
I was born in Dublin and going back home created lots of memories for me. I am jealous of anyone who lives there.

my new blogger :)

Hiya everyone!
I've made a blogger account due to several reasons. The first of reason being it's so easy to update with new posts! The second reason is I was filming youtube videos but unfortunately this has been cut short due to no fault of my own (well maybe a little fault on my part) I was filming my videos on my boyfriends camera and one night while I was filming, I accidentally dropped the camera and a part of the screen or inside of the camera has just deteriorated. Meaning it'll cost more than buying a new one to fix. I obviously will replace the one I broke but in the mean time I am waiting on getting my birthday present from my brother for christmas (uhh.. don't ask) and when I do my videos may be filmed again once I work out how to use the camera! Though when I did film people would always complain so for now I'm blogging.
So I hope you all enjoy my thoughts, I have a lot of them and I have a lot of things to review :)
Enjoy, leave comments, follow me and I'll follow back
